Go for Yours proudly supports Thelonious Stokes as he becomes the youngest African American student and only one of two African Americans in the world to be accepted and attending the Florence Academy of Art in Italy.
His mother, Vikki Stokes, reached out to Go for Yours for financial support when raising money to help send her son to the Florence Academy of Art. The Chicago art prodigy says he became an artist for no reason other than to thrive. Stokes utilizes art as a vehicle to reform systematic injustice and redefine our contextual beliefs of what it means to be a man.
We are excited to join Thelonious on his journey as he goes for his and impacts the world along the way.
